October Professional Development Meeting

Well as 2020 continues to progress, more of us teleworking are contemplating what returning to the office may include. Humanscale, the global leader in Ergonomics and Office Health & Safety will be presenting on solutions to return safely to the workplace. Humanscale recently asked an independent lab that specializes in fluid dynamics (movement of water vapor through the air) to create a simulation of what happens to microdroplets after someone sneezes. The simulation was done at both a workstation without panels and one with panels – the results are quite dramatic.

Our presenters will be Mike Petitgout and Mark Consolla. Mike joined Humanscale in July 2018, with prior experience in Health & Safety. He lives in Cincinnati, OH and covers all of Ohio and Kentucky. Mark has been in the contract furniture industry for more than 25 years, spending time at Knoll, Herman Miller, ROL (height adjustable table manufacturer) and Global Furniture covering a variety of products including systems, storage and tables. Born and raised in the NYC area, Mark went to school in both Connecticut and Virginia and currently resides in West Michigan.
