Networking Your Way to the Top

Guest Speaker: Mr. Dave Bente

Do you have a network? Are you using and maintaining it as you should? Do you know the key elements of a successful network and how to use them to get to the top? Dave will discuss what a network is and what it is not and help us learn to do what doesn't come naturally. Dave will also discuss the management of your network(s), the inherent opportunities and priorities, unique ways to make yourself stand out and what mistakes to avoid. Dave will be very entertaining and provide information that is useful in your personal and professional life.

Dave Bente is a diversified human resource professional with over 20 years experience in leadership roles that entailed comprehensive human resource accountability. His strengths lie in the areas of managing change to maximize organizational initiatives that stimulate profit.

After a 14 year boxing career, Dave co-founded The Queen City Boxing Club, a program designed to serve the inner city youth of the Cincinnati area. Dave has a BS in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, is the author of the book “Interview with Confidence” and was featured in Sports Illustrated for his work as a Career Transition Consultant working with former and current National Football League players.
