Back by popular demand, David Morrow spoke at our September PDM about assessing the risks companies face, quantifying the potential chance and severity of the risks, as well as the costs associated with a risk event and risk avoidance. Member feedback from that meeting was, 'These are great concepts! How do we actually implement them in real life?' Dave will be addressing the 'how' in his second visit. You won't want to miss it!
Mr. David Morrow, CPIM, SCOR-P was a Management Consultant at IBM. Mr. Morrow has held positions at BTAS as a Supply Chain Specialist, Bearing Point/KPMG Consulting as a Senior Consultant, DSS as a Production and Logistics Manager, and with UPS where he served in customer service and operations. His experience in supply chain management spans distribution, procurement, operations, information technology, supply chain modeling, and design. He has been a Director at APICS Supply Chain Council since 2016. He serves on the SCOR test development team. In addition, he is a Member of the Supply Chain Risk Leadership Council. He is a certified SCOR instructor as well as Certified in Production and Inventory Management. He is a Certified Life Cycle Logistician Level II, and a Certified ISO/QS 9000 Internal Auditor. Mr. Morrow received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University and his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Wright State University.Date: March 9, 2017
